Yisong is a fifth-year PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Min-Yen Kan. His research interests include discourse and lexical semantics. He composes emojis to represent lexical compositions, asks questions to measure language models (LMs)’ faithful understanding of discourse relations, and discovers transformer circuits controlling how LMs process discourse relations.
