Barid is a Postdoc at WING, supervised by Prof. Min-Yen Kan and Prof. Zhiyong Huang. Prior to PhD training, He spent over 6 years at a start-up company, working on chartbot projects. His research focuses on multilingual and cross-lingual NLP, code-switching, machine translation, and machine learning for NLP. Currently, he is working on consistency and conflict in multilingual and code-switch scenarios.
